Hexlid

Hexlid™ is a new era in head protection, it is a proprietary EVA injection moulded helmet. Hexlid™ is designed for all forms of body contact sport.

In March 2016 independent scientific testing was completed using state-of-the art head impact testing and evaluation methods. Selected development models of Hexlid™ plus a wide range of commercially available compression moulded head guards were tested. 

The report concludes; “Analyses predict an approximate halving in the likelihood of concussion for football players who might wear the Hexlid model compared to those wearing current commercial headgear models.” The figure below demonstrates the benefits of wearing a Hexlid™ over alternative forms of head protection.
